Play + build + create + move + inquire... dream!
At The Perigee we provide children the space to grow their creativity, critical thinking skills, and social-emotional literacy by cultivating a collaborative and respectful learning culture and group dynamic. Children are protagonists, collaborators and communicators, and are therefore encouraged to direct their own learning.
Through a deep understanding of how children learn and observations of a child's play, teachers thoughtfully craft play-invitations, pose questions, or tell stories, which support a child's investigative process by giving them the tools they need to ignite further ideas and critical thought. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to inquiry-based learning in a natural setting, we are free to venture into a world of wonder and unexpected phenomena with insurmountable joy!
