Camp Perigee

While I wish the kids had more hands on with the camera and editing equipment, the kids were happy, inspired and entertained. They really enjoyed their counselors and the beautiful Tilden Park. They took part in writing a script, doing eachothers’ makeup and scouting locations. The video the group created was adorable, meaningful and funny. They’ve already asked to return to this camp. Although we are unable to sign up for another session this year, we will return next summer.

Jahbi runs an attentive, thoughtful, nurturing, and super fun camp! I felt so great about my kids spending the week under her care and guidance and the kids loved their camp Perigee experience. I look forward to next summer with Camp Perigee!!

My daughters spent a week in drama movie camp. They loved every aspect of the camp. Every day they were super excited to get up and go to camp.

Our daughter, Mina, loves Camp Perigee! The whole day is scheduled with enriching activities from painting, making clay sculptures, nature hikes and so much more. I am always impressed by how engaged the children are by the knowledgeable and fun counselors. Mina leaves camp every day talking about all the fun things she did. Thank you!

My son thrived at this camp! He asked why did he have to go to a different camp the following week.

My 4 year old twins loved this camp. They went for one day and when I went to pick them up they didn't want to leave. They had made bird feeders, gone on a hike, and made a set of dress up bird wings. The two women running the group were wonderful. We hung the bird feeders at home and watched a little menagerie enter our garden to nibble! So much fun!!

My daughter loves being outdoors. When I asked her what kind of summer camp she wanted to attend, she was very eager to attend Camp Perigee. She was so happy each day after camp. She made friends, hiked everyday, did art projects and learned so much. She cannot wait to go back again next year. At the end of the camp, the Camp Perigee team shared their photo album with me via email and I was able to download pictures of my daughter's time there. I could not be happier with her choice.

My son has had the best time these last 4 days. He cannot wait to go to camp tomorrow. He comes home exhausted but happy. The teachers are super sweet and mild mannered. The groups are small which is a plus in my book. I only wish the kids got a t-shirt or hat or something to identify them and better yet to have as a memento when camp is over. I am already searching to add another week to his camp experience.

Camp Perigee provides a wonderful experience for children. Children are exposed to improving educational skills and creating wonderful art! The instructors are highly knowledgeable and greatly experienced with working with children of all ages. They provide a safe and nurturing environment that children easily adapt to and look forward to attending year after year!

Amazing teachers who love what they do! My kids had such a fun time exploring local parks and making fun science and art projects! Volcanoes, painting flowers from real life and making clay bug sculptures were their favorite. They can't wait to go again.

Creative, active, playful fun in nature! Lots of art, science and hiking. Friendly staff and very reasonably priced as well. Cheers!

The kids came home raving about all the fun places they went. They got to learn about animals at the zoo and took the ferry for the first time. I'm so impressed at how Lily and Jahbi make this camp happen, so glad they're back this summer!
