Children can choose to build and explore, gearing mechanisms and motorized machines, calibrate and capture wind, as well as experiment with balanced and unbalanced forces and friction; measure distance, time, speed, weight, and much more! Activities include collaborative, eco-friendly city planning and design challenges using LEGO while enjoying nature and the outdoors this summer.
ART + SCIENCE + MUSIC + FRIENDSHIP in NATURE are all at the core of our program. Our projects are hands-on, child-directed and accessible to all children. We swim, hike, sing, make, bike, create, observe and play all day! We paint with watercolors, draw with color pencils, mold with clay as we create Art Everyday!
Our camp is rooted in the wonders of science as we watch for birds, identify trees, paint with plants and collect specimens for closer examination.
We connect to the natural world through science, weekly projects and on our daily nature walks.
Campers explore the local flora and fauna on our lovely local trails. While hiking we gain a deeper respect for the natural world as we take a closer look at what the wild has to offer. Our time outdoors allow children to run, play, observe and create music with new friends.
