Mighty Coders

We are the go-to after school kids coding academy teaching the 21st century skills & technologies for the younger generation ages 7-14. Our duty is to give your child an academic edge and to get them on the path to a brighter future!

We offer a variety of programs to fit the needs of every family:

Drop in for 60 minute coding sessions twice a week

After-school enrichment program, which serves as the fastest and most rewarding way for your child to learn coding.

Parents Night Out - Friday evening full of STEM games and activities for enhanced and engaging learning.

Week-long and single day STEM camps geared towards teaching children in-demand technical skills in an accelerated and fun way.

At Mighty Coders, we believe coding is a foundational skill in the 21st century, very similar to reading and writing. Starting a technical education early is a recipe for success, giving your child an academic edge for the future. We provide a great curriculum, tools, mentorship, and other resources based around computer science and other STEM subjects for a high-quality experience. Everyone should have the opportunity to learn coding because it’s an incredible skill that provides unlimited creative potential.

I have had an excellent experience with Mighty Coders. My daughter takes coding classes from them and she is very happy learning coding. The content is super and the Instructor is very good. I highly recommend Mighty Coders to all families with kids who want to learn coding.

Hi my child is 9 and she has learned basic Scratch programming for about a year. She has played with Minecraft but not quite programming with it. Would this Minecraft modding be suitable for her? Also how do you manage 1:4 or 1:5 virtual class room when different kids are at different level? Lastly, do you have 1:1 private lessons? (Virtual Coding Camp - Minecraft Modding) -

Hi Baldwin, thank you for considering our camps for summer. We do a bit of text based coding with Eclipse IDE for our Minecraft Modding camps. If she hasn't had exposure to text based coding, I would recommend looking at HTML/CSS Camps. About your other question, the content is personalized at individual levels. Hi Dimitry, I have already enrolled my son but we are looking for more details about the class. The current description is very brief. Will you be using MCreator or any other tool to help them code? You mention about customizing the mobs. Will they also learn to tweak games and customize the way the game is played? Kids will be with you for 3 hrs each day, 15 hrs in total. Could you provide the objectives, outcomes expected, and a course outline for all 5 days? All this information will strengthen the course description and will boost our confidence in the camp. Hi Deepak, happy to know that your son is so excited about the camp! I agree the description is lacking in detail, and definitely has some typos. Everyone who signed up for this or other camps, will receive an email with more details prior to camp. In this camp, we introduce students to Eclipse and Java; the students that work with us on this topic have built some experience on text-based programming. Our main objective is for the students to have a lot of fun, as they have already completed a stressful year of school. So along with coding, there will be some non-screen based activity. The outcome expected is to be able to build a mod or two at the end of camp. That said, the programs are self paced and students are encouraged to continue to make progress. Hope this helps? Really excited for your son to be part of camp this year. -
