Best coding classes and camps for kids and teenagers. Easy to do business with them, very accommodating and flexible. Any kid who is interested in coding should give these classes a try. The 1:1 interaction with the instructor is always sufficient for my kid's needs. He keeps telling me "Thank God for Mightly Coders, mom! This was your best find ever!" :)

My 9 year old son loved the virtual Minecraft coding camp he did last week. I was hesitant with it being virtual, but he got just as much out of it as he did last year when he did a camp onsite. The camp kept his attention as he's continued working on his projects outside of camp. Love his confidence and passion for coding. Glad we signed him up for 3 camps this summer!
Questions & Answers
Hi my child is 9 and she has learned basic Scratch programming for about a year. She has played with Minecraft but not quite programming with it. Would this Minecraft modding be suitable for her? Also how do you manage 1:4 or 1:5 virtual class room when different kids are at different level? Lastly, do you have 1:1 private lessons? (Virtual Coding Camp - Minecraft Modding) -

Hi Baldwin, thank you for considering our camps for summer. We do a bit of text based coding with Eclipse IDE for our Minecraft Modding camps. If she hasn't had exposure to text based coding, I would recommend looking at HTML/CSS Camps. About your other question, the content is personalized at individual levels. We can do 1:1 private lessons. You can call us at 206 880 1630 and we can discuss further. -
Hi Dimitry, I have already enrolled my son but we are looking for more details about the class. The current description is very brief. Will you be using MCreator or any other tool to help them code? You mention about customizing the mobs. Will they also learn to tweak games and customize the way the game is played? Kids will be with you for 3 hrs each day, 15 hrs in total. Could you provide the objectives, outcomes expected, and a course outline for all 5 days? All this information will strengthen the course description and will boost our confidence in the camp. Thanks. (Virtual Coding Camp - Minecraft Modding) -

Hi Deepak, happy to know that your son is so excited about the camp! I agree the description is lacking in detail, and definitely has some typos. Everyone who signed up for this or other camps, will receive an email with more details prior to camp. In this camp, we introduce students to Eclipse and Java; the students that work with us on this topic have built some experience on text-based programming. Our main objective is for the students to have a lot of fun, as they have already completed a stressful year of school. So along with coding, there will be some non-screen based activity. The outcome expected is to be able to build a mod or two at the end of camp. That said, the programs are self paced and students are encouraged to continue to make progress. Hope this helps? Really excited for your son to be part of camp this year. -
My son (9 yrs) loves Minecraft. His programming exposure is limited to some Scratch projects by following Youtube videos and a recent introduction to Python. He has a good acumen for logic, reasoning, Math, and Science. Would this class be right for his skill level? (Virtual Coding Camp - Minecraft Modding) -

Sounds great! This will be a good transition from block based programming to text based programming. -
