The Little Studio

This was my daughter's first time with The Little Studio camp and she had the BEST time! She was so proud to share everything she worked on each day and tell stories of the fun adventures they went on. She loved being with Michelle and all the fun things she had planned each day (and her willingness to go along with some of the ideas and plans to kids had in mind too!). Thank you for a wonderful week!

Michelle creates a magical environment for kids. Their creativity blossoms while at camp and my little one is always excited to share about new achievements (climbing to the top of a tree, learning how to embroider, etc). Michelle also always has an amazing team of teachers who can help emotionally support the kids - no matter what they're dealing with!

We just finished our second summer camp at The Little Studio and our daughter (age 6) had an amazing time! Michelle creates an environment for the girls that is nurturing and stimulates their curiosity and creativity. This setting allows for each girl to be comfortable expressing herself through art and sharing her art with her other camp friends. There is also time for free play and exploration which makes for a perfect balance. I really appreciated Michelle's daily emails and photos, it's clear the girls are having so much fun together. As our daughter said, "it's a blast!"

This art camp for girls is a must! Teacher Michelle is both a skilled early childhood educator and a skilled artist - the girls love her and so do the parents! It’s a truly special program in the city.

We just wrapped up our second summer with The Little Studio, and it gets better every year! The summer camps are a nice blend of action and focused creativity (so my daughter can get the wiggles out before she dives into the project of the day). Michelle has a wonderful way of helping each girl express herself through her art in her own unique way while learning about the medium or technique. My daughter was sad that her week was over and is already looking forward to next summer!

My daughter (5 at the time of camp and going into 1st grade) had a wonderful time with Michelle and the other girls. She did not know any other girls at camp at the start of the week, but by the last day they were hugging one another goodbye. She enjoyed the warm, calm atmosphere and the chance for open-ended activities as well as outdoor play with a small group. It was definitely a nice respite from some of the bigger camps she attended. As parents, we appreciated Michelle's daily email updates and photos about the day's activities.

Variety of fun, useful activities with low intensity in a small group dynamic. Girls ranged from ages 5-11 so could be tougher for those without a peer of same age.

This camp is great! My daughter has attended for several years. She really thrived in the all girls atmosphere and with the creative outlet that the camp provided. Michelle is a wonderful teacher and gives amazing guidance to her students, not only with her expertise in art, but also with her ability to calmly guide the students on how to best communicate with each other in social situations.
