About
The Little Studio

The Little Studio offers art camps for girls entering Kindergarten-3rd grade. The Little Studio provides a warm and nurturing small-group setting that fosters social interaction, creative problem-solving skills, play, laughter and joy. 

The approach is child-centered and open-ended, and girls will head home with many projects they feel proud of. The small group size of 12 girls with 2 teachers also allows for plenty of 1-on-1 teacher support.

Our Staff

The Little Studio was founded by Michelle Fleck in 2016 as a place for children to develop their confidence and self-expression through art. We focus on exploration of real artist's materials like paint, watercolor, clay, sewing and textile arts, and other open-ended mediums. The Little Studio provides a warm and


nurturing small-group setting that fosters social interaction, creative problem-solving skills, play, laughter and joy. We are proud to offer small teacher-child ratios to allow for lots of 1-on-1 support. All of our warm and dedicated teachers have years of experience in the education field. All teachers have been background checked and are certified in pediatric CPR and First Aid.

This was my daughter's first time with The Little Studio camp and she had the BEST time! She was so proud to share everything she worked on each day and tell stories of the fun adventures they went on. She loved being with Michelle and all the fun things she had planned each day (and her willingness to go along with some of the ideas and plans to kids had in mind too!). Thank you for a wonderful week!

Michelle creates a magical environment for kids. Their creativity blossoms while at camp and my little one is always excited to share about new achievements (climbing to the top of a tree, learning how to embroider, etc). Michelle also always has an amazing team of teachers who can help emotionally support the kids - no matter what they're dealing with!

We just finished our second summer camp at The Little Studio and our daughter (age 6) had an amazing time! Michelle creates an environment for the girls that is nurturing and stimulates their curiosity and creativity. This setting allows for each girl to be comfortable expressing herself through art and sharing her art with her other camp friends. There is also time for free play and exploration which makes for a perfect balance. I really appreciated Michelle's daily emails and photos, it's clear the girls are having so much fun together. As our daughter said, "it's a blast!"
