Avid4 Adventure

My son (4 yrs old) enjoyed the coaches and the experience a lot. He seemed to enjoy the biking more than kayaking. I am very happy that he entered the camp not knowing how to bike at all and left on the cusp of biking on his own. He is now a few days removed from the camp biking fully and loving it!

A well run camp experience with great activities. Abby loved learning how to build a shelter and a bear bag. Melanie did a superb job of encouraging, supporting and listening while remaining kindly professional.

My son had a good time but the camp did not adjust for experience levels and my son did not feel challenged like he did the year before. It sounds like they did the last day and that it ended up working well for all. The counselors were great and very patient but for the money spent, I think they need to cater to all levels from the get go.

Rueya loved it. We will be back next summer! The instructors are very nice, the program is adventurous and exciting and outdoors!!

My two girls (9 and 10 1/2) absolutely loved this camp. The outdoor nature of it, different adventures each day - super unique and fun, and a good options to mix in with other camps for the summer. It was great!

Of the 5 different camps my 9 year old daughter participated in this summer, Avid was her number one favorite. She loved the adventures and experiencing a different activity each day. I felt like the camp was staffed with fun loving, responsible, adventure guides who truly enjoyed leading our kids and showing them the best possible experience. I felt confident each day when I dropped her off that she was in good hands, which says a lot when your kids are "adventuring"! We are hoping that Avid will bring an overnight camp to the Bay Area soon!

My Daughter Natalie had a great experience with Avid4 Adventure, enough so, that she wanted to do it again this week.
Her counselor was very friendly and attentive which helped enhance the entire experience. She really enjoyed the water activities the most. Thanks for making her week special.

My soon to be 9 year old boy loved the Mountain Camp camp run by Avid4 Adventure and can't wait to try their other summer programs. He took the shuttle from the Presidio in SF to Mill Valley every morning. Everything was well organised and clearly communicated.

My 6 yr old daughter loved this camp (Explorers Group). She is active, loves nature, and this camp was perfect for her since there were a lot of different activities to try. She was able to learn to ride a bike too! Staff was professional, communication was great. She is already looking forward to another camp session!

My kids really enjoy it, even though the camp they we're subscribed was canceled and nobody informed us. But the director was pretty helpful. And gave us solutions pretty quickly. All of them were friendly and fun!

Exceed expectation and our kid had lots of fun! Bravo to the teachers as well as customer service who replied promptly to our emails. Will definitely sign our kids up for future camps !

I loved the Avid4 Adventure camps! The activities were challenging but fun, and the camp was well-organized. I've learned a lot during the week. I wish that there would be a two-week session instead of one, so the campers could learn more skills. I also hope that next year, there could be more activities like horseback riding, roller skating, and archery. Thank you!

Very well run! Very organized, easy to find information online and all staff members on the phone and at the camp site we knowledgeable and very friendly. My daughter (incoming 7th grader) enjoyed both weeks at camp--the adventure and the paddle-boarding. Thank you for offering a fun time while pushing her to try new things! She looked forward to going to camp each morning.

A truly amazing experience for both my son and myself. My 11-year-old son has had some developmental challenges and he does not have a good awareness of his body. He has not been able to do much of any outdoor activities. This camp changed his life for the better. Perry (one of the counselors) took time to teach him on different skills including mountain biking, something my son had always been very resistant and terrified of for years. My son came back home that day very thrilled he actually learned how to bike! I cannot express my appreciation and gratitude for Perry and all the counselors. Everyday my son came home exhausted from a day well spent. It was truly the best summer camp ever!

This was my child's favorite camp this summer! Kayaking, Mountain Biking, hiking, paddle boarding, outdoor skills all in one week without going to sleep away camp. It was great!

Whoa. That was AWESOME! Not only did my girlie have a great time in the sun and exercising, but you had a lunch offering (the way to a momma's heart!), and the whole prep was exceptional. You really stand apart as summer camps go!

I think the camp opens your eyes to the fact that your kids can do more than they think they can.

My daughter has been at the Avid 4 Valmont Bike Park camp this week, and she has had a BLAST. She had a very different reaction (MUCH more positive) than she has to other camps she has attended. And I have to say, every interaction I've had with the office and field staff has been wonderful. This is a really top flight operation. The camps are spendy, but it's obvious they use the money to create a really great product. Register your children with complete confidence. They will LOVE Avid.
