Join Us For An Art Lesson!

Learn how to sketch with step-by-step guidance from a live art instructor! The class will begin with basic shape recognition during the sketching phase and will then move basic shading techniques.

What you will need:

  • paper
  • pencil
  • eraser
  • Q-tip for smudging
  • a phone or computer with Zoom (zoom.us) installed to attend class

Rules for joining the class:

  • Please keep your microphone muted
  • Raise your hand if you have a question
  • Show your art up close to the camera when asked to share progress
  • No recording the lesson out of respect to other students

The age group is too big (6-18). My 7 year old could not keep up with the instructors advanced techniques (he has never learned to sketch first and then erase and does not have the fine motor for light sketching). This is not suitable for young kids who just like to draw. Too advanced. Not what was advertised.

Each lesson includes an age group range to better estimate their ability, however we encourage your student to challenge themselves as growing artists if they would like to join :) Our instructors will help navigate the lesson according to the groups' art ability. As our lessons are interactive, students can ask questions during class such as repeating a step, slowing down, and more! We look forward to welcoming your son to class!
