Overview

This online Intermediate I class is for students who know the rules of chess and can play without supervision but need to learn the fundamentals of playing well. We focus on problem-solving and introducing planning into their games.

Each class starts with a 30-minute lesson, followed by chess games with classmates supervised by their instructor. Each student is provided a premium membership to Chesskid, which gives them access to 140 video lessons, 70,00 puzzles, and games against a playful robot.

My son really likes the class. He learned a lot and happy to be able to play with his classmates. He looks forward to each class every week. Coach James is great and so is the other coach (Jose?). Once in a while, they offer free webinar featured great chess player that interact with the kids, good motivation for the kids and they all get pretty excited. Will be good if they can do class tournament once a month or so and then analytic of the games afterwards to learn together.
