Circus Arts Classes and Camps

Circus academy is awesome! All the instructors are qualified, supportive, upbeat, friendly and know their craft. I keep going back because of all that and the fact that the facility is big enough to accommodate enough people, so I have plenty of room to practice. Great environment!

My 2 year old (soon to be 3) is super excited every Saturday to go to Circus school! She loves all the activities and it's great to watch her have so much fun while gaining so many different skills. She especially loves the silks hammock and animal walks! I really like this as an alternative to the overly aggressive additudes I've seen in some of the more "traditional" sports like gymnastics and ballet. I love how happy everyone is here!

The Circus Academy of Tucson got me where I am today--a professional circus school pursuing my dream of becoming a full-time circus performer! Without them I don't know what I would have done. Thank you!

Our son will be starting his second full year of attending the Circus Academy of Tucson's camps and classes. It has become a central part of his physical and social/creative development. It is a great program that teaches skills in a supportive and safe environment.

My daughter has been going to circus classes for 2.5 years now, after being invited by a friend. It is a great activity that encourages creativity, dedication, flexibility. She has been to community activities and venues to perform and learn about other family friendly things going on in town. She has made friends with and learned from other students as well as staff.

My daughter absolutely loves this place. She has grown in so many ways!!

Our experience with The Circus Academy had been nothing but positive, amazing and great! I LOVE how they take their time with my daughter and how friendly and nice they all have been.

My daughter greatly enjoyed taking kinder classes at Circus Academy of Tucson! She gained a tremendous amount of self-confidence while learning to balance on a beam and ball and perform safe and elegant moves on a trapeze! She loved juggling and tumbling alongside her peers. Our daughter is shy, so we were greatly surprised and proud of her when she performed for the summer recital in front of a large crowd with ease and confidence! The teachers do an incredible job engaging the kids in multiple circus skills.

I was an intern at the Circus Academy of Tucson recently and I can honestly say that I gained so much from the experience. Not only is Katherine an increadibly talented teacher but she also make a clear effort to share circus arts with everyone. From scholarship programs for students and educational outreach to schools. Every staff member is equally talented and exceptional.

We love the Circus Academy! My 5 year old attends and can't stop taking about it. It's fun, the teachers are so kind, and my daughter is gaining so much confidence.

The Circus Academy is a huge wealth of knowledge for all things silks, trapeze, lyra, and all things circus. The classes are catered to all levels of skill and a great way to stay fit!

I cannot recommend the Circus Academy highly enough! Instructors are experienced and safety-conscious, atmosphere is supportive and inclusive, workouts are intense, well planned, and fun! If you want to get hella strong and bendy, there aren't many better activities than circus. With that said, I felt super welcomed even as a complete beginner (I'm only 6 months in, and I love it but I don't have a ton of experience yet). The instructors really go out of their way to meet each student wherever they're at and provide individually tailored conditioning to help you get that ONE trick that you're struggling with, or to work around an injury. I also like that the curriculum is very structured, and the accompanying strength training and stretching routines are really designed to set students up for success as the tricks get harder.

I have been training at the Circus Academy since it opened and it has had a huge impact on my life! I enjoy learning new circus skills, staying physically fit, and meeting new friends at circus classes. Everyone is very welcoming and every class is a chance to learn something new.
