Calling all Pokemon fans! Join us as we design motor-powered LEGO versions of your favorite Pokemon, from the friendly Mimikyu to the ferocious Charizard. You’ll power all with motors and gears, and use your creatures in races, battles and other activities.
Next, we'll explore robotics by designing Pokemon with built-in LEGO WeDo sensors and using code blocks to activate their movement.
Lastly, learn how to make your own Pokemon-themed mini-games using Scratch, the #1 software for kids' game creation! Each day, the teachers lead you through the steps to complete unique Pokemon action games such as Tauros Rodeo, Pokemon Ghost House, and Flight Course. By the end of the week, you will have some fun games to take home, plus the knowledge to make a variety of other games with Scratch!
Camp also features outdoor recess times, teacher-led games, and LEGO engineering videos.
Be sure to bring your own lunch, snacks and beverage.
