Perfect for campers who love LEGOs and Minecraft! We’ll start each day by building a motorized LEGO version of a Minecraft character.
We’ll make friendly Goats, spinning Blazes, fearsome Zombies, and, of course, the dreaded Creeper and Ender Dragon!
You'll design each build using LEGO technic elements and Power Functions motors and electric power. Learn about gear ratios and how to maximize speed for motor-powered projects.
In the afternoon, we’ll enter Minecraft, where we use our imaginations to solve problems and bring the game to life! From building a castle tower with an elevator, to creating parkour games, to engineering farms and roller coasters, you'll discover what is possible in Minecraft.
This introductory class is built for newcomers, but will even stimulate Minecraft veterans with new designs as well as special game tips and tricks to try out.
Camp also features outdoor recess times, teacher-led games, and Minecraft design videos.
Be sure to bring your own lunch, snacks and beverage.
