SK8 GYM Summer Skate Camp Is A Fun, Safe & Engaging Day Camp Designed For All Skill Levels With Variety Of Skateboarding Activities.  Camper to Staff Ratio is 4:1

    ***Please note camper drop off and pick up is at Aptos Park: 147 Aptos Ave.*** 

    • Skate Instruction: Mornings: 2 Hours & Afternoons 2 Hours with Certified Coaches at Balboa Skatepark. Camper have the option to skate at Aptos Park, skatepark visits are optional.
    • Classroom: ​‍​Learn How Parts Of Skateboards Are Made, Names Of Tricks And The Various Disciplines Within The Sports, Culture, History, Athletes And Present-Day Trends.​​​
    • Shop:​‍​ Learn How To Disassemble Skateboards, How To Care, Maintain, Clean And Reassemble Parts. ​‍​
    • Worksheets:​​ Crossword Puzzles, Word Search, Mazes, Trivia Challenges, Coloring, Vocabulary; All Related To Skateboarding.​‍​​
    • Demonstrations: ​‍​Our Staff Will Demo Tricks For 15-20 Minutes Per Day, During Breaks. ​‍​‍​
    • Goodie Bags:​​ Campers Received Age Appropriate Skateboarding Related Trinkets.​​
    • Training Equipment Available For Campers To Use. ​‍
    • Training Location Includes Clean Restrooms, Shade And Coverage From Unlikely Rain.​‍​​ 
    • Available Rental Gear: Skateboards, Knee/ Elbow Pads & Wrist Guards
    • Aftercare is offered 3pm-5pm (and before care 8am-9am) at rate of $25/ hr per family (includes up to three sibling campers).

    Sk8 Gym has been such a wonderful addition to our family's physical activity. My son attended (skateboarding) camp last summer and had never been on a skateboard before. Marko is patient, kind and very encouraging and before he knew it, my son was skating around and loving it. He will be doing it again this summer and he loves skateboarding so much, we utilize the private lessons, as well. Thanks, Sk8 Gym!
