At Land, Sea, Air, & Space Camp, for teens ages 13-17 entering grades 8-12, the focus will be on volcanoes (geology), the ocean (marine science), air (climate), and space (rocketry, astronomy) and the flora and fauna of Hawai'i Island (botany, zoology). You will visit Kīlauea, the world's most active (and easily studied) volcano. You will visit beaches with black and green sand. You will learn not just about the events that take place in the natural world but experience first-hand how they affect plants, animals, and people.
