This course is an online program and conducted via Zoom.

Let’s master and improve coding skills with games!

Developing and customizing games is the best way to master advanced coding skills and improve logical thinking. The fun and interactive games motivate your child to learn while nurturing creativity and logical thinking. It requires advanced coding skills, UI/UX (user interface and user experience) design, game story design, and a lot of logical thinking– and we can teach your child all of these and more with this camp!

What your child will learn
    Scratch programming environment
    Fundamentals of programming such as sequencing, if/else branches, loops, variables, conditions, screen/character control, sound control, interactivity, and event-driven programming
    Character and sound design and edition
    UI/UX design to make games fun and more challenging.

What your child will create
A fun and challenging maze game with the multiple stages that require UX design

Additional games such as Mouse chasing game, Dodgeball game, Golf game, Flappybug game, Missile shooting game, and moon landing game.

After this course
Your child will see that coding is fun and interesting. They will fully understand the fundamentals of programming and will be able to develop their own program with Scratch. They will be able to customize games with their own personal taste of sound, characters, and user interface design.

Hardware requirements and recommendations

A stable internet connection is required.

We recommend using a three-button mouse (2 buttons and a center wheel) instead of a trackpad. A mouse is easier to operate.

We recommend having an additional monitor or additional PC/Mac/Chromebook/Tablet to only show Zoom.

Minimum 5 students.
