This online camp is best for the first time 3D animation students.
Overview:
Master fundamentals of 3D animation with the most popular open-source 3D software: Blender. The Blender is a function-rich software and, since it’s open-source, your child can continuously develop his/her models and animation at home for free! For comparison, a similar software program like Maya would cost over $3,000 for your child to use. Your child will learn how to manipulate the 3D characters and convert them into 3D animations with lighting and camera work. 3D animation is not easy and requires a lot of foundational knowledge. This camp covers the whole process from 3D animation to build that foundation.
What students will learn
How to use Blender for 3D animation
Fundamentals of 3D animation
Animation development with key frames, parenting, and rigging
How to edit animation with the Dope sheet Editor and the Graph Editor
The process of 3D animation development
What students will create
Several objects such as lights and robots to understand the basic transformation functions and parenting of Blender 2.8.
Several animations such as a bouncing ball and a humanoid to master key frames, timing, and expression with Graph editor.
Animation of a humanoid with a professional level of armature and rigging.
Images of dramatic poses with the humanoid character
After this program Your child will be able to develop a basic 3D animation with Blender 2.8. Your child will also be able to make the 3D models animation-ready with parenting, pivot point adjustment, and rigging. Then your child will be able to generate 3D animations with lighting, cameras, and key frames, and edit them with Dope sheet editor or Graph editor.
We will inform the participant of the link to the video conference before the class. Minimum 4 participants.

Thank you very much for writing the review. RISU is glad to know that she enjoyed the camp. 3D Animation is not easy and requires a lot of knowledge. RISU hopes that she enjoys developing her own animation. We look forward to seeing her in the 3D Modeling and Special Effects camp.
I wish the instructor would be more energetic. After 2 1/2 hours of instructions without a break my 11 years old was so exhorted. She did lean the basics of Blender, which is great!
Great class! My daughter loves the fun and engaging aspects of the class projects and I was impressed by the attentiveness and the professionalism of the instructor. Working on 3 Dimensional rotations in the class is also a big plus, helping kids develop visual-spatial cognitive skills.
Thank you so much for the positive review. We are glad to hear your daughter loves our 3D Animation & Modeling course. The instructor also enjoys working with her. She is a fast learner and acquiring complex 3D Animation software very quickly. We look forward to working with her on a humanoid.
Love this class so much for my 8th grader. Any chance you are offering classes at the end of July into August?

No prior experience required. However, the student needs to have some experience with a keyboard and mouse as the class uses both short cut keys and mouse actions a lot. -
