Summer Camp is returning to Open Minds, Silicon Valley! Join us for inclusive, engaging, and fun at our Menlo Park campus.  Open Minds’ experienced staff, 13,000 square foot Ninja Warrior gym, and inclusion philosophy set us apart from other camps. 

Weekly Themes:

  • Week 7 (7/15-7/19): Math is Fun!
  • Week 8 (7/22-7/26): Water Fun
  • Week 9 (7/29-8/2): Mad Science

The school is most definitely for neurodivergent kids, which they need to be more transparent about. The cost does not match an experience for a neurotypical kiddo. $550 for 5 long days of open gym, being marketed as Ninja Warrior Camp. My kids still had fun and made it work, but it wasn’t what we thought we were signing up for at all.

We apologize that your child's experience at our Ninja Warrior Camp did not fully meet your expectations. At our camp, we strive to foster inclusive environments where all children can participate and benefit from our programs. During the week of your child's enrollment (6/19-6/23), we had a total of 23 participants, with 4 indicating additional support service needs on their registrations. We believe strongly in welcoming all participants who register online, and often we do not have detailed camper profiles until the program begins. We're pleased to hear that your children still enjoyed their time with us. We are currently in discussions to ensure that future participants have a clearer understanding of our programs. Your feedback is valuable as we continually strive to improve our programs.

Hello! A few questions: It looks like a couple of your camps are for ages 2-14, but most are for 4-14. Is that correct? Our little one is 3. Also, are participants required to be toilet trained? Hello! Thank you for reaching out with your questions. Regarding the age groups for our camps, you are correct that most of our programs are designed for children aged 4-14. Unfortunately, our minimum age requirement is indeed 4 years old, so we wouldn't be able to accommodate your little one who is 3. As for toilet training, it's not a requirement for participants to be toilet trained. We understand that children develop at their own pace, and we strive to create inclusive environments that cater to individual needs. Regarding sending an aide with your child, we absolutely welcome that. It's important for us to ensure that all children can fully participate and enjoy their camp experience. We'll just need their contact information in advance so we can send them the necessary documents to sign, which will come from our HR Department. If you have any further questions or need assistance with anything else, feel free to let us know. We hope to see your little one in the future! -

My son doesn’t speak English but is able to understand and speak just a small amount. Are the classes able to handle non-native English speakers? (Open Minds Summer Camp) -
