Mountain Camp Marin

As a counselor at MCM, I felt constantly supported by the leadership team, the Mark Day community, and my fellow counselors. I genuinely enjoyed going to work and loved the energy the campers brought on a daily basis. I can't wait to return this year for another memorable summer!

Mountain Camp Marin has been such a great experience for our boys, Carter and Jack! Every day they came home with huge smiles, fun stories, and so much excitement about what they did. The staff is awesome—so friendly and enthusiastic, and you can tell they really care about the kids.

Carter and Jack loved all the activities and especially got into the structured badge award system. It was such a fun way to keep them motivated and proud of what they accomplished. They made new friends, learned a bunch of new skills, and spent their days outside in the most beautiful setting.

We’re so grateful for the memories they made and can’t wait for them to go back next summer! Highly recommend Mountain Camp Marin to any family looking for a fun, well-organized camp experience.

When registering for camps, we parents are hoping that our kids will spend time outside, have fun learning skills(social and otherwise), and make friends all in an environment with caring adults who keep us informed. Our family found this with Mountain Camp Marin. Our six-year-old attended for one week, Harry Potter week, last year and he thoroughly enjoyed himself. The pennant flag he received is still prominently displayed in his room. This is a special memory for him. He wants to return this summer and so does little brother.

As a parent, choosing the right summer camp can feel like an overwhelming decision, but sending my child to Mountain Camp Marin was, without a doubt, the best choice I ever made! From the moment we arrived, it was clear this camp is something special.

My daughter spent her days immersed in a variety of adventures—archery, swimming,drama, etc. and participated in team-building activities that encouraged independence and confidence. The balance of structured activities and free exploration allowed her to try new things while also discovering her own interests.

What really stood out to me was the incredible staff. The counselors are warm, attentive, and truly invested in creating a safe, inclusive, and fun environment. They went above and beyond to make every camper feel seen and valued.

As a parent, I also appreciated the open communication. We received updates and photos throughout the session, which gave me peace of mind and a glimpse into what the campers were doing.

Best camp my child has ever been to. Mario and the counselors were so engaged and attentive to the campers. It was the best camp experience my son has had. We will be returning next year!

Our child had such a wonderful week at camp that we signed up for more time. The counselors are upbeat, friendly and fun! The other campers were kind and welcoming ( she didn't know anyone -but made friends day one). They offered a range of daily activities here so she was never bored. As a parent, I appreciated how easy sign up and communication was with staff. Thanks for the fun summer memories for our child!

My 10 year old has had the best week at this classic summer camp! He came home gushing about the activities each day and excited to go back. Archery, pool time, gaga ball - even singing camp songs. It's been incredibly hot out and they found a way to incorporate water activities daily. I love that it's tech-free. He didn't know any kids attending and felt welcomed and bonded with other kids easily. We had a great expereince and I highly recommend!
