Legarza Kids
Voted "Bay Area's Best Camp" by Bay Area Parent Magazine. Our camp provides a service that everyone in our community can afford. Our goal is for all campers to work hard and feel good about themselves in a safe, disciplined, highly structured and motivated environment of learning and fun. We place the child and his or her personal development ahead of the game. Positive encouragement and measured improvement in fundamentals are a trademark of our camp, as well as learning to work together in a team setting. Our programs are open to school aged children, kindergarten through 8th grade.
Legarza offers a variety of programs including but not limited to Basketball, All-Sports, Volleyball and S.T.E.A.M. Additionally we offer multiple options under those divisions including camps, leagues, training, after-school classes, physical education, community fundraisers and school events.

My son really enjoyed the camp this last week at Saint Pius elementary school. I appreciate it that the coaches broke down the foundations of basketball rather than just throwing the kids in a game. We can’t say enough about our 5 year old daughter’s experience with Legarza, Sunnyvale. I was very nervous about sending her to a new camp, at a new school, with no one she knew, especially with her being on the youngest end of the the age spectrum. However, she was made to feel so comfortable and excited, my daughter was begging me to stay later after her very first day. Pickup and drop off are organized and efficient. My management standards are really high, being a teacher myself and every day, I saw the kids supported, supervised and engaged in wonderful activities. Thank you for providing my child with such an awesome summer and giving me that precious peace of mind!

I truly believe in everything that Legarza stands for and the programs that are offered. Legarza provides consistent mentors for the youth in the Bay Area all year long. Not only are aspects of sports and STEAM taught throughout the programs, there are also life lessons passed along as well. Topics like teamwork, positive attitude, best effort, and respect are constantly emphasized to the youth at the programs which creates a very amazing long term effect on the community!

Basketball typically takes place indoors. If there are outdoor courts and the weather permits us to be outside, we like to be outdoors as well. -
