A first introduction to musical notation for young children! Students will get personal attention from Chaia May! These are smaller, more personalized versions of the popular classes.
Children who are either readers or pre-readers will be able to recognize the symbols and timing of musical notes and dynamics! With this under their belt, they will be prepared to sing and/or play an instrument with an understanding of basic tempos and dynamics. Ahead of the game, they will be able to focus on technique and expression of the music inside them. By the end of a few weeks they will be able to read, sing and clap familiar children’s songs using favorite symbols such as cars, trucks, trains and balloons.
Also appropriate for children with ADHD and on the Autistic Spectrum.
