LearningPlay
LearningPlayTM is a comprehensive education program developed by Chaia May to transfer, in a playful way, the joys of learning — particularly music — to children of all ages, starting at 3 months. Her program is tailored for young learners with unique and special needs. She also provides a variety of offerings for adults and families.

Our Staff
My staff over the summer consists of volunteer teens from local high schools, teachers studying for their credential from Pacific Oaks College and myself.
The teachers are under the supervision of Dionne Clabaugh, Ph.D. and myself, Chaia May, M.A. Stanford University.
Honors & Awards
My business has been running on word of mouth since 2008 and I have been teaching 40 plus classes a week for the last few years. I have been asked to speak at many national education conferences including NAEYC, CAEYC and have written 25 books on early childhood education, used as guides by the Palo Alto JCC as mentioned by their former director while I was working there.
I have worked for Marissa Mayers and other distinguished families in the Bay Area, leading group classes and offering lessons and camp experiences over the years. I have been working for the PACCC community and CSMA for the last twenty years as well.

I highly recommend it!! My granddaughter is in love with Chaia and waits all morning for her online session. Chaia is so engaging with the children that it doesn’t seem like it’s an online class. The class is fill with cheerful, upbeat music and packed with excellent learning stories. The music includes international songs to expose the young children to words and sound from many countries. What an excellent online class!

Both of my children attended Chaia's camps every summer from young toddlers to their teen years when they became camp counselors. The diversity of experiences was so impressive and enriching. Chaia's ability to engage children of all ages and her wealth of talents never ceased to amaze me. My kids are now both grown and my daughter is a fantastic mom, no doubt in part due to her learning to work with children at what we used to call Camp Chaia.
