Innovation for Youth Policy on Client Requests for Refunds, Registration Credits and Makeups

We have needed to update our registration policies to align with Activity Hero's new policies on cancellations of registrations.  When a parent or guardian opts to cancel or change a registration, there are a few policies that you should be informed of.  Registrations have a 24 hour grace period where a full refund can be processed. After the 24 hour grace period, only 80% of a registration fee can be refunded.  We can offer credits towards other programs.  Notification of canceling must be in writing.  Credits for classes can only be applied to classes that aren’t fully booked to capacity 7 days prior to the start of classes.  Because it is logistically difficult for us to offer makeup classes, we are generally unable to offer makeup.. 

Innovation for Youth Policy on Program Cancellations

Though Innovation for Youth tries to avoid canceling programs that families have registered for, Innovation for Youth reserves the right to cancel programs. In most cases, the need for cancellations will arise when an instructor becomes unavailable to teach a program or when it will be unfeasible economically to run a program.  If Innovation for Youth cancels a program, we can either refund 80% of the registration fees and offer 20% credit toward registration for other Innovation for Youth programs, or full credit can be applied to another Innovation for Youth program.
