Battle of the Bots VEX Robotics (In-Person 5-day)

My son fell in love with coding and robotics here. He took robotics classes as well as the "Battle of the Bots" week-long camp, which he says is the best camp he has ever attended (and we concur!) Terence is an excellent and patient teacher and you can tell he takes the time to plan his classes and projects in a way that keeps the kids engaged and motivated over time. I also appreciated that there is some light competition but that the atmosphere between the kids is collegial and supportive. I would definitely recommend taking classes or camps at this iCode.

Our kids loved this summer camp. They came home every day with exciting stories of the bots they built and the competitions they had against the other bots. They really liked their teacher, who has incredible credentials. They are sad that their camp week is coming to an end!

My son did the Battle of the Bots camp and loved it. He enjoyed being able to build the robot he wanted and modify it each day based on how it was performing and what the other kids were doing. They had a ton of fun each day competing against each other. The instructor was very good and personable.

My 13 year old son attended the 5- days battle of the Bots camp. He had little experience with programming, but learned a lot and had a great time.

My nine-year-old son attended a 5-day camp at iCode Palo Alto ("the Battle of the Bots: Tournament of Champions") and he really liked the camp. The staffs are friendly. They also send us daily update on what the kids did. My son also liked the instructor. He learned quite a bit on coding and engineering and had a lot of fun there.

Both my 12 and 7 year olds were thoroughly engaged in building bots and participating in various races and challenges. We'd be back again for another camp or class in a heartbeat!
