Vex Robotics Afterschool

Course Overview:
Dive into the exciting world of robotics with our VEX Robotics course, designed for young innovators aged 7 to 12. This hands-on program introduces students to the fundamentals of robotics using VEX GO and VEX IQ platforms. Through engaging projects and challenges, participants will learn about robotics design, programming, and teamwork, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

What You'll Learn:

• Basics of Robotics: Understanding the core components of robots, including sensors, motors, and structural elements.
• Design and Build: Create and assemble robots using the VEX GO (for younger students) and VEX IQ kits (for older students).
• Programming: Learn to program robots to perform tasks using block-based coding, progressing to more advanced logic as skills develop.
• Teamwork and Collaboration: Work in teams to solve problems, complete challenges, and compete in mini-competitions.
• Problem-Solving: Develop strategies to overcome obstacles and improve robot performance through iterative design.
