Overview

In this hands-on class, kids learn more about the Three Pillars of Wealth -- the Stock Market, Business, and Real Estate. Students will also participate in a stock market simulation game where they will manage a $100,000 portfolio to understand economics, investing and personal finance to prepare them for a future of financial independence. The winner of the stock challenge will win $50 to invest in the investment vehicle of their choice.

When taking this course students will learn the following:

What is a Stock?
What is an ETF?
What is a Mutual Fund?
What is a Ticker Symbol?
Why invest in Stocks?
How to choose stock.
