Supporting Families on the Road to Connected and Effective Parenting

Early Childhood Matters focuses on the early years (0-5) where the most crucial brain development happens. We offer strategies that support children in developing compassion, creativity, and self-confidence through parenting workshops and facilitated playgroups. We have multiple locations throughout the Bay Area and also conduct workshops for both our national and international communities.

We loved outdoor explorers- it was engaging, fun, and a special time with my kid. I’d highly recommend anything Early Childhood Matters hosts!

We have enjoyed taking this class and even after the first session, we had action tools to apply with our toddler.
This is a small group so there is enough time to be heard and work on our specific needs. You need to get the book and do some homework to get the most from the class but it is worth it.
We now have the tools to break abusive cycles and power struggles for our children. Thank you, ECM.

For our younger explorers group, the price is prorated for Oct-Dec remaining sessions already. $225 prorated for remaining 6 sessions (10/27, 11/3, 11/10, 11/17, 12/1, 12/8). Please let me know if you need further assistance. -
Would it be too late to join the Sept group if my baby will be 1 year old by then? I unfortunately haven’t been able to join earlier because of work schedule. Thx (Second Time Moms) -

Hello! Thanks for reaching out. It will depend on the baby and whether or not you think they think they could sit on a blanket and play/feed for an 1.5 class? We’ve had it work with older babies in third time before, but would depend on babies temperament. Email info@earlychildhoodmatters.org so we can help you decide closer to the time of the class. Thanks! -
Are recordings of the sessions available after each session? I have two little ones so the chances of being interrupted while it's live are high... (Parenting Through the Toddler Years) -

Yes. We provide the recording the next day. Many people (or their partners/spouses) utilize this for that very reason. The link will be available for two weeks after the class. -
We signed our daughter up for the explorer class that begins tomorrow but don't know where we are going? (Toddler Play-and-Learn)
