About
Curious Jane
Curious Jane is a day camp for rising 3rd-6th grade girls, and for 1st-2nd grade girls, we offer CJ Junior. We run multiple weekly sessions at beautiful schools and girls choose their favorite theme each week!
Our class themes give girls the opportunity to explore science, design and engineering in a fun, creative environment. Our goal is to empower girls to be active in learning and problem-solving, look at things in new ways and above all – experiment and have fun! Each group is different and each creates its own magic. No matter what type of school your daughter attends, there is a place for an all-girls experience. We hope it will be with us!

Our Staff
Curious Jane was founded in 2009 by Samantha to give her daughters, and all girls, a place to be creative in a fun, high-energy environment.
All staff are interviewed in person, trained on site, and fully background-checked. Counselors are college students, or talented mature high school students. Instructors are Masters Level (or beyond) young professionals in the areas of arts and educations.
Directors hold advanced degrees, 5+ years experience working with children, and are hired and trained from within previous years of Curious Jane.

I cannot say enough good things about Curious Jane! My 6 year old daughter LOVED it! She was excited to go every single day. I wish had signed her up for both weeks, and next year I will. The girls worked on daily and weekly projects that were hands on and and intellectually stimulating. They made colors, dyed fabrics, built sculptures, learned to weave, morse code. It was also fantastic for social development. My girl talked with me about being kind and making thoughtful decisions. Also, the location was great for me. There aren't that many camps in my part of SF (Bernal Heights) and the location was great for us! I will be telling all my daughter's friends about this camp!
