BrainVyne - LEGO® & Money Camps

Great experience! My 8yrs old son loves the camp, and learned some new LEGO skills and made several new friends.

Our daughter had a lot of fun with the content of the camp and enjoyed working with the Lego kits. However, the teachers were merely there for supervision and didn't provide much guidance or support for the children.

On the last day there had been a sub, and our daughters mentioned how much more helpful and attentive he had been. The two main teachers had been sitting at the desk mostly.

We loved the Lego camp - Annie the instructor was lovely and kept a fun packed day of Legos and various activities. My daughter loved each and every day.
We will definitely sign up again.

This camp is quite pricey. one thing to note is it says the age range is from 4-11, which is quite a range. there isn’t any specific differentiation or age-based grouping. The instructors are kind and nice, but I would not consider it beyond anything i have seen around to pay a high premium. The material is also not something you can take back, but it’s really not worth in my opinion.

During a very hectic time at work for my wife and I, when there are not many summer camp options in August, this LEGO Technic camp was fantastic! My kid loved building impressive LEGO creations and had a blast. Even though there was a wider age range of kids, and the price point was a tad high, it was totally worth it. The teachers were amazing – patient, fun, and skilled. Big thumbs up for a great experience!

Save your money & look for a different camp! My child was so excited and talked about this camp for weeks but unfortunately we left incredibly disappointed. Many of the skills and deliverables promised on the website and in the class descriptions were not fulfilled. They did not complete a stop motion movie and there was very poor communication. I would not recommend. My disappointment is one thing but the hardest part was seeing how disappointed my child was the end of the week with nothing to show for the time spent there.

Fun camp and really nice instructors with understanding and patience.

My 5-year-old son really likes it. Although he prefers the board game, sports time over lego time, he still finished his lego task and showed it to us. He said he wants to join it again!

The teachers are enthusiastic and kind. I was moved by the fact that they sent a handwritten message to each child on the last day of the camp!

My daughter is typically shy in camp settings but had a fantastic time at camp. Their LEGO Kits are unique, and the builds are great. The builds are all motorized. The activities were engaging, the cohorts were nicely put together, and the teachers were young and fun. We will be looking at attending their Girl Power Robotics camp next year.

My 7-yo son attended for the full day and says it's his favorite camp of the three he had attended so far. He loves LEGOs and building things in general. He has been doing LEGO motors and gears on his own at home via youtube videos and has built pretty complex things, and I wondered if it would be interesting enough for him. He was so excited to show me what he had done at the end of each day when I pick him up.

My daughter attended the LEGO Robotics Camp in Palo Alto and thoroughly enjoyed the program. They were taught coding using scratch based programming. Scratch tied to LEGO Builds made for a very fun week. She had built Alligators, Monkeys, Giraffes, Lions & Gorillas, all of which were powered by her code and music. The teachers were organized, kind and inclusive. Fun summer memories. We will be back.

The class room was small and they changed locations last minute - less than a week notice, which was annoying (it was much further away for us). But other than that, my boys had a blast. The camp leaders were amazing with my kids. The had some fun lego activities along with other outdoor activities to do for break times. I would probably consider this again if the price was more reasonable next year.

The program originally scheduled was changed just a few days before the camp began, and the camp was operated regardless of age group.

Our kid loves play Lego so ask us to sign up a Lego Camp. But the experience was not impressive and the kids gave us feedback that it was boring and they were not passionate to work and play with kids.

Instructor could’ve engaged a tad more but overall kiddo learned some cool things!

Good. My 5 yr old enjoyed the projects that Brainvyne offered. The staff seemed to work well with him. The camp is largely indoors (lunch is outside).

Really fun camp and knowledgeable teachers. My son was able to make his own movies within a couple of days and we got the help we needed to edit and share them.

Overall ok as my child learned a new skill. However, first day she was a few mins late And wasn’t allowed in. Thursday class was shorter than promised. Friday class was only 5-10 mins. Money NOT well spent. Would not recommend

Our experience wasn’t great. First the camp didn’t start on time because the kit hadn’t arrived on the start date. We had to move other camp dates to fit in this one. But that worked out okay.
The issue started when I wrote an email to the organizer mentioning that my son didn’t like the first day and me and my husband overheard one of the teacher saying she can’t be here to organize his stuff when my son couldn’t find some LEGO piece. Instead of taking the feedback she started mentioning things like they have worked with 1000s of kids and parents and everyone rave about our teachers. I didn’t want to increase the issue because my son was still going to the camp so I didn’t say anything much after that. And the teachers were also great after that so no complaints. But the organizer didn’t even bother to reply to my emails on time after that. I was told to ask for the video recording of one day when my son couldn’t complete his Lego work and I got a reply after 5 days and I sent one more email after that which I still haven’t heard.
After all this we will definitely not send our son in this camp again.

Content was good. We has issues with zoom call in on 2 days but they sent us recordings to catch up!

Both my girls age 5 and 7 loved it. Thank you. Small group helped with the social distancing. Look forward to sending them again.

Very good! My kids love it. And it provided some online resource/game so the kids can learn after the meeting.

The staff was welcoming and caring, and the kid loved the activities. Came back full of stories of the models that he built, and asked when he can come back again.

My son had a wonderful week with Star Wars LEGO camp. He was excited to go everyday in order to discover new ideas for building and problem solving!

My five year son had a great week in BrainVyne. He is shy, barely talked about the summer camp. But when he came back from BrainVyne, he said he loved it a lot.

My son was super excited everyday to go to Brainvyne. He looked forward to going to camp everyday.They made really cool stuff. What a great and positive experience!!

Our 5 year old son had a very good time building simple machines at this camp. He learned about team work, he and his partner would work together to build things. He also had a very good camp teacher Miss. Chelsey who was very patient with kids and would steer them towards completing the lego project for the day.

This was a great camp for my son. The concept itself is unique - teaching kids all about money - making it, saving it, investing it, etc. I was worried that my son would be bored if it felt like another class at school. Instead, he said it was fun because they played money games that sounded very interactive. They also did movie making, so it was a good creative balance. They have great teachers and well run camp. We'll be back to try their other camps!

We found BrainVyne via Activityhero and have been fans since 2016. My son has attended several of their programs. Great instructors and activities.

Our boys had so much fun at the LEGO spring camp! They love the teachers. Highly recommend.

My boys enjoyed it, but it's a pity I didn't have a chance to look at what have been made during the day.

My daughter loved building with legos at the Menlo Park Lego Robotics Camp, she had a great time and made a lot of friends.

My 5 year old loved Lego Camp this year...again! I loved that they kept him busy and not just playing legos. He played outside and got to run around, as well as learned new things AND PLAYED LEGOS! The teachers, Mr. B and Brian, are phenomenal, and when my son had a "frustrating" day, Brian related so well to him and helped him feel better about it! Great camp. We'll be back for sure.

My son (4 year old), loved this camp! I do have to say that it is quite pricey given that food is not provided and the location is ok (the church where they met was dark and kinda depressing). But, the people were super nice and patient with my son.

My daughter had a great experience with the Lego/Pump it Up camp at Santa Clara. She loves legos and is into pre-engineering games but doesn't always have great outlets to explore these talents in a field that tends to be male dominated. The staff/teachers at BrainVyne did an excellent job of making her feel comfortable and confident and allowing her to advance her interests. The were also mindful of pairing her with a well-matched partner and together they built amazing projects - even going beyond the daily projects. I would highly recommend to friends and especially young girls looking for friendly and productive pre-engineering outlets.

Excellent summer camp for Lego lovers ! My 7 year old daughter enjoyed so much that she wants to come back.

BrainVyne hosted my 8 year olds birthday party & Lucy Loved the party! Everything was great, the only minor issue I noticed was on the second build most of the boxes were missing a piece or two and thus it slowed them down slightly.

But overall it was a great party!!! Thank You!

It would be nice to have a schedule of what they do each day. It seemed they spent all day crowded in a hot classroom. I would have liked to know how much time they spent running around each day, a short summary written on the white board each day of what they worked on that I could skim when I picked them up, etc. Also, I got complaints of other kids breaking my son's creations so it would have been nice to understand what the rules around this were. That said, he had a pretty fun time.

My son absolutely loved going to Zoom and Star Wars Lego summer camp for 6-8 year olds. He said his favorite was building R2D2. Since it was a nice small group, it was a comfortable and low-key place for him to build and meet new friends. He really liked Maggie - the instructor.

My son says: "its fine. i mean its fun but the breaks are sort of abrupt."

Overall, our daughter liked the camp a lot (LegoBotics). However, a number of things didn't work when they were supposed to. Some parts were missing from the kits, so the plan had to be changed to first make the movie and then make the robots, which was OK. However, the program didn't work, so the kids didn't learn how to program the robots and had to go with the default program, which was disappointing given the cost of this camp.

Ugh - this is just expensive daycare. I cannot say my son learned anything about tech or computing. They park them for 2 hours in front of a tv every afternoon to watch a DVD! What a colossal waste of time and money. My son did Tynker last summer and had a vastly higher quality experience.

I was hoping my 4 year old son would enjoy a week long Lego camp but I did not expect him to be estatic about going to camp everyday. The instructors were caring and thoughful. I am a working mom and the extended session was perfect! I plan to enroll him in more classes and would recommend this camp to all parents with high expectations for summer camps!!!

We had wonderful evening on last Saturday celebrating my son's birthday at your location. My 7 year old son as well his friends really enjoyed Lego-themed party. Annabelle and Chelsea did a wonderful job in engaging the kids. The party place and ambience were really nice. My friends also liked it very much. Thank you for every thing. Highly recommend the camp! We had 3 boys attend the camp Spring Break 2015 and they throughly enjoyed it. They loved making lego movies and programming.

BrainVyne hosted several classes for my work's Take Your Child to Work Day, and it was a huge success! The children were really engaged, and it seemed to be a highlight of the day. The booking process was also really easy for the parents, and Rathna was great to work with.

My son was nervous about this camp, but ended up loving it. The instructors seem fun. My son had fun creating different things everyday with new friends. There seems to be a good balance with creating specific Lego things and free time building what they want. He wants to get there as early as possible every morning.

My son absolutely loved the Lego spring break camp! He loves Lego, and had a lot of fun. He also was very well taken care of, and made at least one new best friend. He's not used to being away from home for so long in a day, but with Brainvyne he was happy and entertained until 3 each day.

The Lego camp has been a great experience for my son (and myself) alike! He has enjoyed the many projects he has worked on, making new friendships and the camp counsellors. I highly recommend BrainVyne for birthday parties especially if you want something fun and challenging at the same time! We had an incredible Lego Robotics birthday party for my 8 year old son by BrainVyne. We were optimistic that the kids could keep up with the technology and they certainly did. The crew at BrainVyne not only explained all the details in a fun way, but they were extremely hands on when it came to guiding the kids in the right direction. My soon-to-be 8 year son loved the spring camp at Oak Knoll. He particularly enjoyed creating a LEGO movie. He used the word "Awesome". As a parent, I completely appreciate the option to register single days. This allowed to take a short vacation in the first two days and then in LEGO camp the last 3.

Our boys' favorite camp! They built great models, and best of all made an animated Lego movie with the iPad. Wonderful. - Diane

I will definitely recommend BrainVyne for birthday parties. The lego entertainers were so helpful and enthusiastic. They took care of everything. All the 8-9 year old girls were engaged and had a great time. Both my 7 year old boy and my 9 year old girl also did Brainvyne Spring Break camp and really enjoyed it. My son joined the spring camp in San Carlos, he loved building the lego with friends every day. He is already looking forward to joining the summer camp.

My 5 yr old son loved spring break camp. His favorite was the Star Wars theme day. A great balance between indoor activity and outdoor fun! Highly recommend this camp!

My first and second grade daughter and son are of completely different temperaments but both loved the spring break camp. The variety of activities, from motors to robotics to stop action films has had them excited about returning to camp each day. They also love the instructors.

Both of my girls had a blast at the spring camp! They enjoyed building Legos, programming, and making movies! It's at pump-it-up, too! Definitely the best camp ever!

This had been a great experience for Mihir. He enjoyed this week, and has been really exited about the movie.

I signed my two kids up for one LEGO day camp during spring break. As soon as I picked them up, they both asked if they can come back and do another day! They had so much fun!!

Aastha Gulati loved the BrainCyne LEGO canp. She loves to play with legos. She likes lego friends the best.😀 She has already recommended the camp to few of her friends and is planning to go for summer camp with them.

Owen had a great time at the Spring camp. After almost a week of Lego camp, I thought he would need a break from playing Lego. But no. He loves Lego robotics and gets inspired what he can do with Lego. Will definitely recommend to our friends.

My son had lots of fun and everyday, he was happy to go to the camp and looked forward to his new daily LEGO project. At the end of day, he told me the projects, how much fun he had- i.e. He built a dancing bird and he made modifications to make it spin faster. He told me a different story everyday. He also made friends in the camp. The staff is very friendly and organized.

My son had an absolute blast at this LEGO Zoom Camp. He enjoyed building and playing with the cool designs. We can't wait to be back this year!
