Summer Camp Refunds may be issued, less a $50 administration fee per registration if you withdraw at least 30 days prior to the start of their Summer Camp week. Any withdraws less than 30 days prior to the start of their Summer Camp week are subject to 50% administrative fee per registration. Any cancellations less than 7 days prior to the start of their Summer Camp week will not receive a refund.
School Holiday/Weekend Adventures Refunds may be issued if you cancel at least 30 days prior to the start of the adventure less a $50 administration fee per registration. Any cancellations less than 30 days prior to the adventure are subject to 50% fee per registration. Any cancellations less than 2 week prior are subject to 75% fee per registration. Any cancellations less than 1 week prior will not receive a refund.
After-School Refunds
will be issued on a pro-rated basis minus an administrative fee of $75.

Policies & Procedures
The mission of ATX Kids Club is to spark kids' natural curiosity through urban-based field trip adventures that build character, self-awareness, and resiliency.
We will:
- Provide a safe and secure environment where children are treated as individuals with opportunities to experiment, explore and become self-sufficient.
- Provide an anti-bias environment where children are not discriminated based on gender, race, religion, age or language
- Provide opportunities for children to develop multi-cultural perspectives within the environment that respect cultural diversity.
- Develop relationships based on trust and respect with both children and families in order to maintain open communication and interaction.
Procedures for Release of Children
Children will only be released to the parent or person authorized to pick up the child by the parent based on the enrollment form.
Illness and Exclusion Criteria
In the event that your child is ill and will not attend, a courtesy call is appreciated. In the event that your child becomes ill during an adventure or day of camp, the parent will be contacted to pick up the child. There is no refund or credit offered for sick days.
Medical Emergency Procedures
If your child is seriously injured, 911 will be contacted immediately for assistance. CPR and/or First Aid will be administered by a certified Field Trip Leader until help arrives. Parents will be contacted as soon as possible. Information provided on your registration paperwork will be used at that time. Please remember to keep your child’s records updated.
Parental Notification Procedures
Parents will be notified in person, by phone, email, and/or in writing if:
- The child is injured and the injury requires medical attention;
- The child has a symptom requiring exclusion from class;
- The child has been involved in any situation that placed the child at risk;
- A less serious injury or incident takes place, you will be notified at time of pickup;
- There is an outbreak of any communicable disease.
Enrollment Procedures
All Registration/Enrollment forms must be filled out completely before any child can participate in an ATX KIDS CLUB program.
Child Protection Policy
ATX KIDS CLUB Field Trip Leaders that have reasonable grounds to suspect that a child attending, has been, or is being abused, neglected, or sexually assaulted, is legally required to report these suspicions to the Department of Family Protective Services.
The responsibility of ATX KIDS CLUB Field Trip Leaders is to:
- Protect children in our care from risk of harm;
- Educate children in a simple and easy way to talk about their feelings
- Be aware of their legal obligation to report suspected risk of harm and the procedure for reporting.
- Be aware of the visible signs of abuse and neglect;
- Observe the child carefully noting any visible changes in their appearance, emotional state, interaction with other children and time spent alone. Field Trip Leaders are required to keep a record for each child.
- Attend training and development in the recognition and reporting of suspected risk of harm and professional standards for Field Trip Leader/child relationships.
