Spy Virtual Camp

For Parents/Guardians:

We have designed this camp so that it will require minimal involvement from an adult.  All materials that are needed for this camp are included in your Camp in a Box.  Box includes daily activities/worksheets, all art supplies (including paper, clay, glue and coloring sticks) , prizes, coloring/puzzle sheets and theme based materials (like wands). This is to free up your time.  You are welcome to play along and have fun with your camper!  All we ask of the parent is to make sure the connection to Zoom is strong, read parent notes that are included in the Box and hide some items in your house after your camper goes to bed (don’t worry – not too many things). 

Although camp counselors will be on hand at all times for the 3 hours, we feel it is important to have balanced activities.  The less screen time – the better.  We encourage interaction with other campers, doing art projects, building lego structures, hunting for items in the house and deciphering puzzles and riddles.

For Campers: 

Schedule will be modified based on camper enjoyment, parent feedback and campers’ abilities as the camp week moves on. They will want to open their Camp in a Box for the day before the camp starts.  We suggest while they are having breakfast so they can get excited about the day’s activities.  Once logged in, every day starts with a fitness warm up training that is personalized for each camper to WAKE THEM UP. We then move on to themed based activities that can go anywhere from 10 minutes to 30 minutes; with some building over the course of a few days - depending on intensity.  Every day at Noon we will stop to eat lunch together and get to know our other campers.  Our goal is to make sure every camper finds a new friend each week.  End the day with dancing or a cool challenge. Points are awarded for mini challenges during the week that can be earned by i.e. helping to clean up after lunch, helping out at home for the week, memorizing names of other campers, helping a new camper feel less nervous and being their buddy in a challenge.

Martial Arts is not conducted in the camp unless outlined in activity week’s description.

Friday is Costume Day!  Wear your best Spy outfit.
