Anderson Day Camp

Our son was signed up for two days and he had a great time. Drop-off and pick-up was smooth and easy to find. The camp leader, Andy, was also very cordial. When we picked up our son, he couldn't stop talking about all the places he visited and all the fun he had :) We recommend this camp and will definitely sign up in the future. Thanks Andy and Angelic.

I was really distressed at how my son was treated and hope to inform parents if this camp stays open. We had a very negative experience. Our 8 year old and 10 year old were in Anderson Day Camp with their friend - there were no other kids signed up for the week. All three kids confirmed that the counselor in charge for the day was working on his computer, was on his phone, and not paying much attention. When he did pay attention, he yelled at our son and put him in time out multiple times. Our son came home crying and feeling really demoralized. When we called the camp to figure out what happened, the owner of the camp told me she just had a baby, and the counselor who made our son feel so bad is her brother. We pulled our kids after one day.

My kid had a good time, once things got rolling.

The drop of was difficult, since at 9am there was no one to receive the kids. This caused strife for my wife and kid.

Please have your people show up for proper drop off of the kids.

I called the provided number and it went straight to VM. This did not inspire confidence, I never did get a call back or a response to my email

Now I want to speak to someone about recovering my kid’s jacket. Not feeling confident that I’ll hear back from anyone.

What a fantastic experience for children in San Francisco! The group was small with only about four to six campers and one counselor. My five year old daughter got to explore the city and even see places I've never been! They take the Muni around and she bonded closely with the other kids, some her age some a little older.

Mili was a fantastic counselor. Thank you so much the camp has been a great experience for our daughter. We loved getting texted all the photos each day too!

Both kids really loved it, they got to experience San Francisco and some of its hidden gems. They loved the experience of riding the bus and getting to walk and explore.

My daughter loved ADC! She went to 3 different camps including a gymnastics & swimming camp but ADC was by far her favorite. They were super active & explored a different part of SF daily. They also got to enjoy various places such as the Zoo and Exploratorium. She met a lot of new friends who she keeps in contact with in the gaming world. The best part is she came home every night exhausted, but excited to go back! We will be returning for a session this summer & she is super excited!

Anderson Day Camp is an amazing programs run by the most fabulous, enthusiastic, and kind staff. ADC offer age appropriate experiential learning opportunities for children that are fun, educational and engaging. My children Express feeling safe and comfortable in their care.

Anderson Camp was beautiful experience from beginning to end. The staff was very nice and accommodating, I would recommend Anderson Day Camp to anyone!

Angelic and Andy was friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about helping the kids have a great time. The activities were fun and engaging - from arts and crafts to outdoor adventures - and my son had a blast. Hearing all the great stories gave me peace of mind knowing my child was in good hands. Overall, I would highly recommend this day camp to anyone looking for an enjoyable and memorable experience!

Kind staff, the kids got to go to new places every day, and they got to play inside the playground’s clubhouse during drop off and pick up when it was too cold to be outside.

First time attending and my twin sons loved it! They want to go back! Kids do fun adventures every day taking full advantage of all SF has to offer.

Angelic and Andy Anderson are amazing! My kids went for their Thanksgiving break program and came home happy and (tired yet) excited to share about their day: all the experiences they had, things they learned about on their daily field trips, friends they made and asked if they could go back - which we definitely will! Highly recommend Anderson camp for fun and educational adventures!

We are in the US for a month. We registered our daughter at this camp mainly because we wanted her to be in contact with other children. When we arrived the first day we found out that there was no group, just one girl younger than her. We let our daughter stay because it would have been disappointing for her going to no camp. She was treated nicely and she enjoyed it because she's an easy girl, but is was obviously not what we had payed for. We think we should have been told before hand that there was no group of children, or at least be offered the possibility of a refund when they new there were no children.
Furthermore, this camp was very expensive and we have just known that the price has gone down for next week!

My 9 year old daughter loved this camp! Every day was a different adventure in the city (Presidio, Exploratorium, Zoo, Cable Car Museum, Golden Gate Park), with extended time outdoors and at playgrounds. She liked camp counselor Mr. William and is asking to go to the camp again. I would definitely recommend to anyone who has an active kid who appreciates adventure and being on the go. It is a low-key camp with an emphasis on play. They travelled via Muni and by foot. Because of the big adventures and method of travel, they did not always return before the designated pick-up time; thus four stars instead of 5. However, they were available via phone and super flexible.

My son and daughter attended a spring break camp here and they loved it. Everyday they came home with so many stories about the different adventures they had. I was very happy the kiddos were able to get all of their energy out and went to bed early some nights from being so tired ;)

My Daughter loves the day camp staff are super sweet fun activities and I highly recommend this camp for your kids!

Amazing camp!! The activities are fantastic and varied. Very well organized. Camp counselors are super fun and very energetic. Planning to send my kids back again this summer and one of his buddies from school plans to attend as well.

My two children (5 &7) loved ADC, my son is very shy but the staff did a great job of making him comfortable and keeping him engaged. Everyday both children came home telling stories of all the fun they had with the different activities and locations they had visited for the day. My kids were very happy going to ACD and are excited about attending again this summer. I’m definitely planning to send them back this summer.

It was nice camp with beautiful location in Golden Gate park. My kid enjoyed going to Anderson day camp last summer. She came back home very tired, dirty and happy. We will come back next session. The staff are amazing.

ADC is my daughter's favorite camp! Right off the bat the counselors were warm and caring. They made my daughter feel so welcomed and confidant. Not to mention Angelic the director is so friendly incredibly on top of what is going on with the pandemic. It feels good to know my daughter is happy and taken care of. I would recommed this camp to all parents!

My 8 year old absolutely loved this camp! Everyday was different and he really liked the different trips they would take to discovery gem around san Francisco. One of his new favorites is hero grove in golden gate park near the rose garden where he can build a fort with sticks and logs.
