YTLC STEM Camp focuses on teaching the principals of STEM (Science. Technology. Engineering. Math) in a fun, engaging environment for students of all ages. Students participate in four classes per day for a chance to maximize their exposure to STEM.
Students are engaged in hands on building projects in LEGO® Engineering (Ages 3-6), LEGO® Robotics (Ages 6+) and K’Nex Education Projects (Ages 3+). They are introduced to the world of Computer Science through fun, interactive learning programs through our instructors who have trained in Microsoft workshops to present this new, innovative material to our students. (Ages 3+)
Students in our Jr Camp learn to further develop their computer skills by learning to create their own animated movie using various software and techniques. Movies are rendered at the end of the week for them to take home. (Ages 6-9)
Students in our High-Tech Camp learn to develop, design, and code their own interactive video game featuring their own characters and stories. Games. (Ages 9+)
