GrowFit Camp is the safest place for kids to try new sports. Serving the Bay Area for nearly a decade, GrowFit provides the expertise, training and physical education that every kiddo needs, while making camp, as fun as possible.
About
GrowFit started as a physical education company with the whole child in mind. GrowFit Curriculum was built to make physical education accessible and fun for all kiddos through professionally designed lesson plans that focus on social and emotional learning. The curriculum is used for camp and was created by educators and designed to inspire kids to try new sports and games while focusing on their social and emotional learning.
As a result of this, the GrowFit approach is a radically different sports camp. Combined with decades of experience in physical education, children will receive unparalleled attention in an environment that fosters being respectful, being honest, and working hard.
Services
GrowFit provides a home for the active spirit. Nurturing the playfulness within us, GrowFit’s social-emotional approach helps children ages four to twelve, learn to love being active – while building confidence and having fun.
GrowFit children’s sports camps include themed camp weeks.
The majority of a camper's day will be filled with a variety of sports and group games such as:
- YOUNGER GROUPS: Soccer, Volleyball, Capture the flag, Tag, Dodgeball, Sharks and Minnows
- OLDER GROUPS: Soccer, Basketball, Dodgeball, Capture the flag, Home-run derby, Kickball, Gaga ball
DURING COVID, THERE WILL BE NO BUBBLE SOCCER OR JUMP HOUSES AND GAMES MAY BE MODIFIED BASED ON THE LOCAL AND STATE GOVERNMENT STANDARDS.
COVID GUIDELINES
**No Before or After Care during COVID**
**No child or staff that has exhibited signs or symptoms of COVID-19 will be permitted to attend camp**
- Anyone who has been exposed or has had symptoms, will not be permitted to attend camp. We need to ensure safety so please make sure that your child is not sick. This should be adhered to with or without COVID-19 present.
**Masks must be worn by all staff and children**
- GrowFit will require ALL campers to wear face masks. If your child has paperwork for mask exemption, please include this in the allergies section.
**Breaks will be taken frequently**
- There will be frequent rest breaks inside and mask breaks outside. Masks will not be worn during meals. If a child has paperwork for mask exemption, please include a note in the allergies section when registering.
**Food safety standards will be strict**
- All GrowFit campers will be required to bring their own lunches.
A refund will be provided if anything changes under GrowFit's COVID-19 policy.
All that said, in the end the most important thing is my child’s happiness and safety. She was super happy to go every day and they kept her safe. Job well done!
