Glenoak Stables are here to provide a fantastic summer memory for your child! Our popular Horseback Riding Camps accommodates children ages 6-14. They enjoy an intensive all things horse-related camp in a fun, safe environment.
In addition to riding, all Campers learn horsemanship and practice exercises to improve balance and coordination. We divide campers by age (6-14) and experience into small groups to provide greater individual attention. Holiday camps held throughout the year to coincide with school breaks, are based on the same curriculum.
Riding: Campers enjoy a minimum of one riding lesson each day in a group suitable to age and level.
Basic Horsemanship: Proper grooming, leading, and tacking-up a horse. Campers learn breeds, body parts, colors and markings, riding disciplines, and basic horse care such as proper feeding, shoeing and basic medical care.
Arts and crafts and other activities, including Pony Games.
