Our Staff

Tiffany Hiam grew up in Hawaii and after graduating from high school, she moved to California so she could learn more about the horse sport. She joined the Isola team with her horse Star then bought Archie Bunker who was one of Isola Stables European imports. Tiffany was very successful in the 1.10m jumpers with Archie. After a year of showing, she attended Academy of Art University in San Francisco and has a BFA (Bachelor of Fine Art) in Illustration. She has knowledge in both hunters and jumpers, and is keen to teach new students what she had learnt over the years at Isola.

Elizabeth Burns came to Glenoaks/Isola as a student in 2003 wanting to learn to jump. Elizabeth starting in the riding school and then ended up purchasing the NZ import O’Ryan, her current mount, in 2005. Elizabeth has competed in 3-Day Eventing and Show Jumping with him, and was very successful jumping the children's jumpers on him. From middle school through college, Elizabeth spent her free time as a working student with her summers devoted to pony camps. She graduated from University of California, Davis in 2014 with a B.S. in Psychology, and minors in Economics and Equine Animal Science. After graduation, she moved to Wyoming where she learned she prefers the rainy winters of California to Wyoming’s icy winters. Now back in California, Elizabeth hopes to spread her love and respect of horses and horsemanship to all who wish to learn.
