Overview

Girls will learn methods for creating Anime style characters and bring them to life in a unique 4 panel comic story! Guided by an Anime trained artist, girls will learn how to draw those big shiny eyes, fun hairstyles and cute outfits. Creative thinking and storytelling techniques will enable girls to complete a unique comic story that expresses something that’s meaningful to them.

Available In-Person and Online.

$35 per participant. Cadettes 6th-8th grades. No chaperone required.

Only open to Girl Scouts of NorCal.

Cadettes will complete all 5 steps to earn their Comic Artist Badge and receive a Camp Fashionista fun Patch!

Fantastic fun for my 9yo daughter. Creating her own fashion ideas and sketching them out. Also an opportunity to pin it together on one of the material mini torsos. Tons of material pieces to choose from. Great creative environments

Highly recommend Camp Fashionista!!! My 11 year old daughter just finished her 4 day Accessories camp with Dori and loved it. Dori is an excellent instructor who is easy to learn from and has fabulous ideas to share with her students. This is my daughter's second round of classes after taking the 1A class (machine sewing) over two years ago.

Look forward to having my daughter take more classes in the future.

Camp Fashionista offers children a great opportunity to learn to sew in an easy, non-judgemental environment. My granddaughter is so proud of her dresses, purses and pillow case she has made there. Last December, at age 10, she made all her Christmas presents.
