My Very Own Garden - Day Camp

Children of all ages enjoy working in the soil and watching plants grow.

This five-day camp experience will provide just that. Each day your child will explore a different type of garden that they can create in their own backyard, deck or porch, or even indoors.

They will learn which plants attract butterflies and hummingbirds - a favorite for young and old alike; how to use containers for plants, and even make a terrarium. They will have the opportunity to start vegetables or fruit plants, too. The last day is magical as they will create their own fairy garden!

Every started plant and garden will be brought home. This gives the child an opportunity to learn, hands-on, how to grow a plant from seed. See the flowers that it becomes. Taste the fruit or vegetable that they selected to grow.

Participation is limited to 10. Preferred age group is 7 to 12 however children under 7 may attend with a registered, older sibling or a parent/guardian. (No charge for the parent/guardian.)

All supplies are included in the registration fee. Every participant receives a fun patch.
