This highly interactive one-hour Zoom workshop covers all five requirements for the Junior Shapes in Nature badge. This is the first in the Math in Nature Badge series for Junior Girl Scouts.
In this session we
- Identify symmetry in nature
- Explore bilateral symmetry in nature
- Create nature-inspired art with circular symmetry
- Find fractals in nature
- Search for the Fibonacci sequence in nature
Badge is not included.
This workshop is scheduled for one hour. Actual time could be more or less depending on the participation of the scouts.
