Overview

Spending time outdoors is fun. Find out how to treat outdoor spaces with kindness and give back by protecting nature.

This 30 minute highly interactive Zoom workshop covers the three steps required to earn the Daisy ECO Learner Badge. Badge is NOT included.

The participants will be engaged in discussions with the instructor and other scouts on how to protect nature when they go outside.

Scouts will:

Be prepared to protect nature before going outdoors
Keep living things safe when walking in nature
Learn how to protect nature from trash

This workshop is scheduled for a half hour but may be longer or shorter depending on the number of scouts and their participation.

Supplies are listed in the “Remember to Bring” section below and in the confirmation email and the reminder email.

Ms Linda was absolutely wonderful! My Girl Scout Daisy loved the activities (including drawing out a plan and a game to identify trash in nature). Ms Linda included all of the participants and really engaged with their answers. You can tell Ms Linda is a lifelong Girl Scout. My daughter was so excited when one of her answers prompted Ms Linda to recognize the associated Daisy petal that, yes, she has earned. The workshop was a great length to engage in the content with the young girls while not exceeding their attention span. My Daisy finished the workshop excited about what they had covered and really happy that she had taken the class and earned her badge. We would definitely do another webinar workshop with Ms Linda!
