Overview

This highly interactive one-hour Zoom workshop that covers the four of the five requirements of the Brownie Numbers in Nature Badge. Badge is NOT included.

In this second session of the Math in Nature series we will:

  1. ​Explore temperature
  2. Learn about non-traditional unites of measure
  3. Create line plots
  4. Determine how much area a plant needs to grow

Step 5 - Plot and plant a garden must be completed by the participant on her own.

This workshop is scheduled for one hour. Actual time could be more or less depending on the participation of the scouts.

Our daughter has soccer until 7:45pm is it ok if she logs in late when she gets in the car? (Brownie Numbers in Nature) -

Yes, she can log in late. Please realize though, the first three steps that we cover in this badge involves using the booklet that you downloaded. Not sure how she will be able to do those steps in a vehicle. She might want to just watch, then do them at home or I can move her to our April session which is April 19 @ 6:00 pm ET. -
