Overview

Earn the first four steps for your Junior Girl Scout Horseback Riding badge virtually!

This highly interactive one-hour Zoom workshop that covers the first four requirements of the Junior Horseback Riding. Badge is NOT included. Please support your local council.

Last step at a riding facility close to your home.

Scouts will:

learn the basics of horseback riding
safety around horses
how to care for a horse
how to prepare for riding
The only thing left for you to do is ride!

This workshop is scheduled for one hour. Actual time could be more or less depending on the participation of the scouts.
