My 8yo loved every minute of his experience during camp. She learned a lot of new commands to use in Minecraft and had a great time with other students and the instructors.

My son loved this camp because he got so many hours of screen time :) He looked forward to playing Minecraft all day but I think this might be geared toward kids who do not have much experience, and he said he didn't learn much in the course. He said he mostly spent time playing.

As a parent, I found the camp very expensive and disorganized. The first day, we were instructed to wait out front but no one ever came, so we were left to wander the campus feeling stressed until we found the right classroom. It was also much more expensive than most other camps which have MUCH more (trips, water slides, food, lots of equipment, etc.) and for the same hours so I am baffled that they charge that much for glorified screen time (my kid is thrilled to play at home all day for free, haha).

We just got Minecraft for Nintendo Switch - would this class be appropriate for my child to take to learn how to play the game? (Minecraft Level Design & Engineering Online Camp) -

I'm pretty sure the Switch version is Bedrock edition, not Java edition, so it would not work for this class. See https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/360034753992-Different-Minecraft-Editions -
Is this a group class? What are the ages of the kids in the online class? Are the sessions pre requisite of the first sessions? (Minecraft Level Design & Engineering Online Camp) -

No, it isn't, this is a great time to join a class that started in January. Do you know which class you're looking at in particular? -
