Grrrl Brigade Summer Dance Camp

My daughter loved this camp! I love how they were very intentional about going over the ground rules and expectation for all the girls, which I feel like set up amazing precedence for the camp. I was surprised at how many dances the kids went over in such a short span of time, but their recital was amazing and the great Overview of some of the dances they worked on. I also girls were broken into smaller groups for their performance at the end. The kids really enjoyed the instructors and you could tell by all the hugs they got at the end was such a great experience and I just love how they incorporate Power and culture and everything into dance and movement and it’s just amazing. I’m excited for my daughter to go back next year.

This is a total girl power experience! We’ve done this camp for 3 years - the Dance Mission staff are wonderful, energetic, and supportive. It’s amazing what the girls accomplish in just a week.

A terrific empowering experience that exposes and teaches your child a wide range of dances, music, positive approaches to thinking and expressing themselves. The "show" at the end of the week is very inspiring and the staff is thoughtful, patient and kind in leading the girls through an impressive array of choreography.

Very sweet! my 6 years first introduction to dance. one week of summer camp produced a 45 minute show which really showcased all the different techniques and choreography they had been working on. which kept all those pretty little girls super busy with movement.
