Night Owls

Does your camper want to stay up late and explore nature at night? Yes, we will let them sleep in, but once we get up, we will have a blast canoeing, crafting, and perfecting their archery skills. In the evenings, we will enjoy nighttime activities like night hikes, a glow party, and campfires. We will also take a day trip to learn more about our night sky at the Tellus Planetarium. Then we’ll explore the night sky in person while camping out under the stars to check out what happens at camp while most of the world is asleep.



Camp Misty Mountain is a camp for ALL girls, not just those who are already registered Girl Scouts or participate in troops. The Girl Scout membership fee is $25 and is valid until 9/30/24. It is not necessary to belong to a troop to be a Girl Scout. Membership will qualify you to participate in a variety of camp and community events all year long (available on the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta website).
