Hit the Trail

Is your camper ready to step onto the trail for new adventures? They will learn how to prepare food to carry with them for the night, purify their water, and cook on a backpacking stove. Once they have learned new skills, we will put them into action with a one-night trip under the stars in a meadow on the other side of camp! Campers still get to have the fun experiences of camp as they start making strides toward backpacking and adventure camping. 



Camp Misty Mountain is a camp for ALL girls, not just those who are already registered Girl Scouts or participate in troops. The Girl Scout membership fee is $25 and is valid until 9/30/24. It is not necessary to belong to a troop to be a Girl Scout. Membership will qualify you to participate in a variety of camp and community events all year long (available on the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta website).
