Classic Camp

Classic Camp is for campers who want to experience all that camp has to offer! Classic Camp days are filled with adventure and new, fun activities. Campers will have the opportunity to build skills in paddling, archery, swimming, climbing, visual and performing arts. They’ll learn about the environment and outdoor skills, practice problem-solving in groups, dance, sing and experience the best parts of summer camp! Campers will build long-lasting friendships as they are involved in team-building, problem-solving and skill-building activities throughout the week. Campers experience new adventures and will be encouraged to have thirty seconds of courage each day as they find their home away from home in the magic of Camp Misty Mountain.



Camp Misty Mountain is a camp for ALL girls, not just those who are already registered Girl Scouts or participate in troops. The Girl Scout membership fee is $25 and is valid until 9/30/24. It is not necessary to belong to a troop to be a Girl Scout. Membership will qualify you to participate in a variety of camp and community events all year long (available on the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta website).



Badge: Each week, campers work together with their group to choose their badge, including options for developing Outdoor, Social, and Life Skills.
