Soccer
Experience the ins and outs of soccer. Improve your dribbling, passing, trapping, and shooting. Work on ball handling skills with your non-dominant foot, learn about spacing, playing off the ball, and how your role at each position shifts as game situations change. Soccer is a game of constant transitions; learn the offensive and defensive strategies and techniques of “the beautiful game”.
JCC Maccabi Sports Camp is a Jewish overnight sports summer camp located just outside of San Francisco in Atherton, California.
Our camp combines the best of two worlds - giving campers the opportunity to advance individual athletic skills in positive, supportive and competitive sports environment while also enjoying the community and relationships of Jewish overnight camp. We welcome boys and girls entering grades 4 through 10 from around the world.
Our talented Head Coaches are professionals who work year round in their sport and come to our camp with extensive experience developing fundamental skills in young athletes.
Counselors, in addition to serving as Assistant Coaches, also live in the dorms with campers, ensuring their safety, developing meaningful friendships and shepherding campers through the entire camp experience.
Through intensive clinics and creative programming, the JCC Maccabi Sports Camp is a transformative experience for young Jewish athletes who are passionate about sports and desire to advance their skill levels. There are also plenty of other sports and camp activities mixed in with the core values of a Jewish summer camp experience.

Both boys loved camp so much! From the minute we got into the car to drive home from camp and for many hours later, we heard how amazing camp was, what they did, how they loved baseball and their coaches, all about their terrific counselors Sam, David and Alex and cabin mates, the prayers they said before and after meals (we especially like when they say “ufaness!!!”, the Maccabi Cup, evening activities, the amazing food, and the list goes on!!!
