Youth Career Camp Inc.

MISSION:

To help develop youth and young adults ages 14 to 21 from low income families and rural areas into positive contributors of a bright future for themselves, their communities, and society. To provide youth and young adults with employability skills training, career pathway exposure, postsecondary education preparation, small business development and entrepreneurial training.

PURPOSE:

Help youth and young adults make good lifestyle decisions to deter the negative impacts of bad choices in the future; to make training and learning applicable, enjoyable, inspirational, and retainable; demonstrate the value of education and the rewards of hard work; give youth a broader perspective on life; provide youth with an exciting summer experience they would not likely experience otherwise; inspire youth to discover their own passion, purpose, and careers; cultivate clear vision for their future;

OBJECTIVES:

Our objective is to provide youth and young adult with practicable, applicable, and retainable, training they can use immediately and in the future. After attending YCCI programs, youth should be able to make better career path choices, demonstrate improved problem solving skills, and empowered to become entrepreneurs and business owners. Through these results, we help build strong communities.
