Yoga Classes For Kids & Adults: Yoga for kids is a great way for children to learn how to reduce stress, as well as improve concentration, mood, balance, and flexibility. And best of all, kids think yoga is fun. In this playful yoga class, children will learn yoga poses, breathing, and relaxation exercises which cultivate a calm mind, increase strength and flexibility, improve gross and fine motor skills, improve concentration, and help them understand how to identify and manage their feelings. Hatha yoga describes the physical practice of yoga.

Our Staff

Asako Inoue - Teacher

After moving to California from Japan in 1999, Asako began her yoga practice in 2001. After 3 years of dedicated practice, she became a Bikram certified teacher. She then completed teacher training at Yogaworks, Dharma Mittra yoga and Vinyasa Flow teacher training with Annie Carpenter, Vinnie Marino and Seane Corn, as well as workshops with Anna Forest, Leslie Kaminoff, Chad Hamrin, Alexandria Crow and more great teachers.

She is constantly learning and sharing the great benefit of yoga practice with her students, family and friends. Her classes are challenging and focus on alignment and breathing to stay in the present moment. Asako is our Senior Teacher and owner of Santosa Yoga Teacher Training. Asako leads our teacher training department in certifying instructors. YogaFunk is proud to have her training new teachers.
